We were both lucky and honored to have Brad Scioli and Beth Anders call into the show this week. Coach Anders is a field hockey legend, holding the most wins of any college coach in the sport. Her insight into coaching and leading young athletes was a true highlight. Coach Scioli has had an elite career of his own, having played 9 NFL seasons as a Defensive End. He weighed in on the passing of his former Penn State coach Joe Paterno and the situation with his former Colts teammate Peyton Manning.

Encouraged by the tragic cruise accident and the negligent captain at the helm, Al and Mike discuss those who fail to take the blame for their mistakes, and the failures that may continue to result. We note the passing of legendary Penn State Coach Joe Paterno; Al takes the local Burger King to task for forgetting his straw; Mike considers the status of his New Year's resolutions; the Quiet Storm returns with girls basketball highlights; and the latest high school sports scores and standings.
